"Murphy is 100% amateur owned, trained and handled (and was said amateur's first broke dog). He was MH level broke with less than 30 training birds. He earned his NAVHDA NA prize 1 at just over 6 months old with no preparation and has been almost completely natural at everything he has done. He has been his owner's diabetic alert dog and has been making consistent alerts on low and high blood sugar since 5 months old. He held the GSP distance record for dock diving in NADD for 4+ years and was invited and made a podium finish at a Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge Qualifier for Fetch It. Hunting, he is a true gun dog that adjusts appropriately to cover and conditions and handles like a dream. He regularly guides hunts on wild and preserve birds and has a fantastic off switch in the house." |
